The United Nations lays out 17 Sustainability Goals as a plan of action for people, planet, and prosperity. Where does New Orleans fall on these goals? How is the Black community in New Orleans uniquely situated and/or disenfranchised from achieving these goals? How will we get there despite these obstacles? Any and all New Orleans community members, advocates, and organizations are invited to join in this collaborative conversation. Insights will help shape a comprehensive report that will be presented at the United Nations Permanent Forum on People of African Descent.
