The Velvet Babylon Revue is a curated stage experience that looks to zig when the zeitgeist zags. The Revue is brings together acts that provide an integrated audience experience, through crowd work, audience participation on stage or something else that involves the audience in the performance.

What sets The Velvet Babylon Revue apart is the mindful curation of the acts, both in choice and order. The goal is to sweep the audience away to another place and have them spiritually fed by the experience; to collectively feel something move within them by the end of the evening. This lofty goal will be the guiding motive for how the show is shaped and how it will grow.

The purpose of the Velvet Babylon Revue is to raise money to for Bygone Theatre, a non-profit whose mission is to promote the growth of independent theatre in Toronto by producing historically accurate plays, educating audiences, and connecting with other historically-focused groups.
