KNIX AND SHOPPERS FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH PRESENT

The Walrus Talks Menopause

Did you know that menopause lasts for one day? Or that in Canadian health care, menopause is not part of any mandatory medical training? How is it that over half of Canada’s population will experience a life-altering journey and our system isn’t prepared to support them? Join us on October 17, at The Walrus Talks Menopause, presented by Knix and Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health, to shatter the silence surrounding menopause.

The program features a diverse range of speakers, including medical experts, cultural leaders, and specialists who deal with the different stages and experiences of menopause, from peri to post. You will learn about the physiological changes during menopause and their impacts on mental health, society, and the economy. Key to these conversations is how different cultures approach menopause, highlighting both traditional wisdom and innovative practices.

The Walrus Talks Menopause will shed light on women’s experiences. We invite you to join us in person or online to contribute to this critical conversation.
