About Charlene
Charlene Bigirimana, originally from Burundi, came to the US in 2009 for her studies. She holds an undergraduate degree in International Management and a masters degree in Accounting. She currently works full time for the Federal Government of Canada as a Financial Analyst.
Her journey of faith and service began in 2010 when she gave her life to Jesus. Although she was passionate about her studies, In 2015, she felt compelled to attend a Bible School at Allison Park Church (APC) in Pittsburgh, PA. Since then, her life completely changed.
Over the years, Charlene has served in various capacities with organizations such as APC, Mission SOS, and Bethel Church in Ottawa to name a few. She reaches a wide audience of men and women speaking at conferences, sharing on her social media, and teaching and leading women in her home church. In addition to her ministry roles, Charlene founded Persistent Pursuer over a decade ago, a platform that has inspired and encouraged over 500+ men and women across 31 countries.
Through her heartfelt teachings and authentic storytelling, Charlene has built a strong online presence, amassing a community of over 28,000 followers across her social media platforms.
Charlene continues to use her gifts to empower others to live out their faith boldly and pursue God wholeheartedly.
Charlene and her husband Laude are proud parents of 3 little girls.
