Join us for our upcoming open house at Theal House, home to the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre.

Over the years, we’ve connected with many individuals from across the Niagara Region who share personal ties to Theal House or are simply curious about the building. The open house will offer the public an opportunity to explore the building’s rich history, its transformation over time, and the work we do at our research centre.

Come by and enjoy our speakers, delicious snacks, refreshments, and a chance to enter our exclusive open-house giveaway!

A film crew will be on-site until noon to document attendees' thoughts, stories, and memories about Theal House and our passionate faculty members will be available all day to chat about our research and programs.

Where is Theal House located?

Theal House is located along Flora Egerter Way on the south side of the Brock campus, just north of the Zone Two parking lot. You can access the exact location on Google Maps by searching "Theal House".

How do I get to Theal House?

Theal House is located on the Brock University campus. The campus can be accessed by public transit or car. Theal House is within walking distance of all campus bus stops and parking lots (for detailed location see previous question/answer).

Where can I park?

Free parking for this event is located in the Front Lot of the Canada Games Park parking lot. Theal house is approximately a 5 minute walk from the designated free parking area.

What time do I need to arrive?

We welcome walk-ins anytime between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

I forgot to RSVP, can I still attend the open house?

Anyone is welcome to walk-in to the event at anytime. You do not need to present a ticket for entry. While an RSVP is appreciated, it is not required for attendance.

Are children allowed to attend the open house?

Children are welcome! This event is open to everyone of all ages.
