Welcome to Thrifty Thursday Clothing Swap! Join us at Royal City Brewing Company for a fun evening of swapping clothes with community members who appreciate slow fashion and trading items. Ahead of the usual Black Friday shop we'll trade/swap some new-to-you pieces. Please follow the process in the FAQ's to make this event work as smoothly as possible. Everyone welcome (no need to registe/purchase tickets for childre), see you there!

Will Snacks Be Provided?

Absolutely, we’re working to be able to accommodate those gluten free and/or dairy free as well!

How Should I Select Pieces to Bring?

Feel free to bring any gently worn pieces that you would like to trade. Try to select pieces with no/limited rips, stains, pilling, etc.

How Should I Get My Items Ready?

Please bring your clothes having washed them one of two days prior.

How Many Items Can I Bring?

Feel free to bring up to 10 items.

How Will The Swapping Process Work?

Everyone will receive tokens for items they bring with number of tokens allotted for clothing items that may have higher value (jackets, etc.) - ensuring that items are traded fairly. Three tables with 3 token values, hoping everyone leaves with the quality of pieces they came with (or equal to).

Why Is There a Cost?

This is non-profit, cost is to cover food items and ensure spots are provided to those committed to coming.

What If I Have Extra Pieces at Home?

Feel free to bring extra pieces that are going unworn and they’ll be donated to a local non-profit just in time for the holiday season.

What Clothing Pieces Are Worth Higher Token Value?

Handmade clothing, vintage clothing and items made with sustainable materials (wool, linen, etc.) are worth 3 tokens.
