Choose one night or come for both! Join us for an evening of fun as we explore the night sky learning from incredible Indigenous guest speakers from around the world! Before the sun sets, participants will have the opportunity to play some fun traditional games, learn about some pow wow dances and regalia, as well as experience Indigenous star knowledge and stories inside our planetariums. After the sun sets and the stars are out, the main event begins hosted by Wilfred Buck from Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

Former international lacrosse player Dallas Squire from Six Nations will be sharing some fun traditional games that the Haudenosaunee play and participants will get to play a round or two of lacrosse!
Jiingtamok ~ A Celebration of Song and Dance
Tim McGregor from Birch Island First Nation will be sharing about the significance of regalia worn at Pow Wows and some of the different types of dances. Join us for a fun round dance together!
What to bring:
- dress for the weather - we will be outside
- camp chair and blankets
- Cash if you are interested in purchasing merchandice (books, posters, t-shirts will be available for purchase)
What happens if it rains?
If it is determined that there will be bad weather we will move the venue to The Centre of Indigenous Excellence and Land-Based Learning 13990 Mississauga Rd, Cheltenham, ON L7C 1W4. Anyone who purchase tickets will be emailed the change in venue the day before the event.

This is an outside event so dress for the weather. Bring a camp chair and/or blankets.
Yes - there will be a roped off area and signs for those who need accessible parking. All other parking will be along the side of the road.
