Do we get enough to sample and take home?

Accepted Answer

Absoultely! What's wine without a little bread and cheese to compliment it! You will sample them together because they are meant to be together... like salt and pepper or ...... bread and cheese!

Question 2

Are essential oils safe to injest?

Accepted Answer

Yes! However,  you MUST ONLY use essential oils labelled as Certified Pure Tested Grade that have been approved by Health Canada, like doTERRA Essential Oils. Many brands will advise against  internal useage because they have toxic fillers and are primarily used for perfume purposes.

Question 3

Do I have to buy the essential oils or hear a sales pitch if I attend?

Accepted Answer

No you do not. Tanya's Sip and Sniff Events are strictly to have fun creating, sampling and learning how to safely use oils and herbs in everyday cooking. If you are interested in knowing more or purchasing oils, you are advised to stay after the workshop to talk to  Tanya.

Question 4

Do I need to purchase the wine at the workshop?

Accepted Answer

5 skillfully chosen wines will be chosent o compliemtn the cheese ball flavour profile at no additional charge to yourself. If you would like to have an additional glass, that would be at your cost.

Question 5

What exactly do I get to take home with me?

Accepted Answer

You will go home with your standfing Christmas tree on a platter. In addition to your edibles, you will receive a surprise sample size essential oil to use at home with some extra recipes to practice on your own! Your  cheese ball can be frozen for up to 3 mos or stored in the fridge for 3 days.

What is the benefit of cooking with essential oils?

Accepted Answer

Pure Tested Grade EO's are more potent than fresh or dreid herbs.  They store at room temperature for years without decreasing in potency, scent or flavour. They are pennies a drop and most recipes never call for more than 5 drops. They retain their health benefits and can be used multiple ways.

Question 7

Will we have to share utensils or divide up food amongst our table?

Accepted Answer

NO! Keeping standard health practices in place is very important.  Everyone will have their own workstation tools including a cutting board, tray, bowl, bowl liners, knife, masher and individual containers of each ingredient given to you. Oil bottles will have a dropper for sanitary administration.
