Back by popular demand, Toronto Dating Hub is hosting another fun mixer for Toronto singles to connect and learn some sexy salsa dance moves!

Join our 2.5 hr event to meet other Toronto singles and also take a 1 hr salsa dance class together! Learn the basic salsa footwork and simple salsa turns and combinations.

The lesson is perfect for beginners but suitable for all levels / genders! No previous dance experience required. You don't need a dance partner - we're hoping to help you meet one!

Who should join? What if I've never danced or taken lessons?

• If you're tired standard speed dating events, try something different and join us!
• If you're interested in Latin dance, learning a new skill, or looking to make new friends - this is the event for you!

The dance portion is only 1 hour and is perfect for all levels, but geared for beginners.

What is the salsa dance lesson like? What can I expect?

• We will do a quick warm up and then teach the basic salsa steps
• You will first learn the basics to dance individually first, and then we will partner up to learn the partnerwork basic steps/combos and rotate partners throughout the lesson so you get practice with different people
• This partner rotation is the reason why you don't need to bring a partner and is the fun way to meet with other singles!

What do I need?

• Apparel - dress up like you're going to a dance party and be date-ready!
• Flat shoes - something you feel comfortable to dance in! If you have actual dance shoes, that's perfect but not required.

Pricing:

There are limited tickets and striving for 50/50 male:female attendance. Typically drop-in dance classes cost $15-$25 and other singles events charge anywhere from $30-$50 and don't include a lesson! It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as we often sell out! Drop in rate is $50 (cash or etransfers only) - IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT (please contact the organizer first).

NO REFUNDS will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event for whatever the reason. Please refer to our refund policy here.

About the Guest Instructor - Kenny Rojas:

Since 2014, Kenny has immersed himself in the world of salsa, excelling in both performance and competition. Kenny & Andrea (TDH founder) met during their time at Steps Dance Studio where they both trained. With experience across multiple salsa styles, Kenny combines technical skill with a vibrant teaching style to help beginner dancers thrive in their dance journey. Join Kenny at our October salsa singles event and experience the joy and energy of salsa dancing firsthand!

Andrea Lo is a proud UTSC Co-op Management alumna who has over a decade of experience in marketing and events. She took her passion & experience and channeled it in her business venture - starting Toronto Dating Hub in May 2020 during the pandemic. It has since been featured on CBC News, Toronto Star, and Flow 93.5. The mission is to transform the way Toronto singles meet - via unique events and tailored date coaching. Because of her in-depth experience planning events, but also having been single, Andrea can not only organize creative & well organized events, she emcees the events herself, and provides coaching to clients. Andrea has positively changed singles' perception of singles events.
