Welcome to the Toronto Island Yoga & Nutrition Retreat! The perfect getaway to relax, restore and focus on your mental and physical well-being. This rejuvenating island escape includes:

Retreat Facilitator
Retreat led by Sierra Day, yogini of 15 years with 300hr yoga teacher training from India and the Canary Islands and pilates mat 1 training from Toronto. The focus of her yoga is vinyasa yoga, which is about connecting movement to breath, and to calm the body and nervous system through pranayama and meditation techniques. From gentle warm-ups to more challenging poses, expect a variety of asanas to increase strength, flexibility, and balance by pulling from yoga and pilates modalities.
Sierra's yoga journey grew in tandem with her food journey. She has worked in the culinary industry for 17 years and has recieved formal education and training in culinary arts as well as a BASc in nutrition and food. She focuses on anti-inflammatory meals made with real ingredients to promote wellness from the inside out.

The retreat will take place at Toronto Island Oasis on Algonquin Island, one of the Toronto Islands.
Catch the 9:30am ferry to Wards Island from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal. We suggest showing up 15-20 minutes early with a prepaid ticket as lines can be quite long in the summer. The retreat facilitators, will meet you at Wards Island ferry dock with a smile! :)
Water bottle - Sunscreen & hat - Extra layers of clothing are encouraged (weather dependant) - comfortable pair of shoes - Optional: Beach Attire - Bicycle
The meals being served will focus on clean and simple ingredients, catering to an anti-inflammatory diet. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please reach out and we will accommodate you as best we can.
Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, or have an injury or health condition - this retreat is designed to be accommodating to all! Please let us know about your specifics and will provide modifications accordingly to ensure that you have a comfortable experience.
We ask that you provide one week notice for a refund should you need to cancel your reservation.
Should the forecast call for rain on the day of the event, we will postpone the event to Sunday, September 15th.
