About this event

Tranquil Trails is a recurring community wellness initiative from Lake Country Health, inviting you to explore the beauty of local hiking trails while nurturing your mental health.

Join us for a guided group walk through easy to moderate trails in Lake Country, BC. Each outing offers a gentle way to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world — all while enjoying the benefits of physical activity and fresh air.

What to Expect:

  • A welcoming, inclusive environment
  • Light to moderate hikes suited for a range of abilities
  • Optional mindfulness or grounding prompts
  • Friendly conversation or quiet reflection — it’s up to you!

Location:
Meeting locations and trail details will be shared in advance via email and social media.

Who Can Join:
Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome. If you have specific mobility needs or questions about trail conditions, please feel free to reach out.

How to Register:

  • Please email mental-health@lakecountryhealth.ca to be added to our email list, this is how you can stay up to date on the location of each hike. You can also keep an eye on our social media pages for location information.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
  • Water bottle & sun protection
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • An open mind and willingness to connect — with nature and yourself

PLEASE NOTE: The group will leave from the meeting spot at exactly 9:10am, please let facilitators know if you are running late.
