You're invited :D!!
You’re invited to a nurturing space designed to reconnect you with the playful spirit within! This is an optional, gentle, and joy-filled follow-up to the Inner Child Workshop & Hammock Sound Bath, which you can find here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/trauma-informed-inner-child-workshop-hammock-sound-bath-registration-1072781049999
This gathering is for people who feel the desire to explore playfulness, something we can become disconnected from in adulthood, and even more-so if our childhood involved traumatic experiences. Childlike playfulness may feel unfamiliar or bring up unexpected emotions, and that’s ok. Together we’ll approach play with curiosity and compassion, creating a safe space to experience joy, laughter, and connection. Whether it’s dancing, blowing bubbles, doodling, or being in nature, each activity is an invitation: come as you are and participate s much or as little as feels right.
By embracing play in a safe and nurturing space, this Inner Child Play Date offers a unique chance to reconnect with joy and spontaneity. You may find yourself releasing stress, boosting creativity, and reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have been set aside in adulthood. This playful approach can enhance self-compassion, foster a sense of freedom, and create lasting memories that spark joy long after the event. From building confidence through self-expression, bonding with others, or simply rediscovering the magic of ply, this experience invites you to reconnect with the wonder and innocence of your inner child.
Join us as we:
· Explore simple, childlike activities in a relaxed supportive environment
· Reconnect with our natural joy and curiosity, with no pressure or expectations
· Approach any feelings that arise with gentleness and openness
This is a space to simply be - to experiment with play and find what resonates for you. Whether lighter, peace, or even release is what you experience, this day is about honouring your unique journey. Together we’ll practice observing what comes up and releasing self-judgment to remember the magic of pure, simple joy.
Light refreshments will be provided :)
