About this event

This will be a fun workshop where you will make a useful Trivet/Potholder for your home or for a gift. Bring a friend and enjoy creating  together with a group of enthusiastic learners.  This traditional  weaving technique has recently become an addictive art form with patterns ranging from solids to multi- colour using well known weaving patterns.


Location: 1731 Churchill Ave, London ON – East Lion’s Community Centre

Instructors: Susan Hoddinott and Susan Roth

Cost: Members and Non-Members – $25

Date: Saturday January 11th 2025

Time: 10am-12pm Official Workshop

        12pm-1pm Bring your lunch Social Time

         1pm-2pm  Make a second Trivet/Potholder ( Extra $5.00 material fee) 

Participant Requirements:

Beginner( need no experience) to Advanced ( patterns and Colour)

Material cost: Class fee includes use of LDWS Pro-Loom (10x10),  cotton loopers to make one complete Trivet size potholder, instruction and handout.


LDWS workshops are open to all. If a participant is less than 18 years old, they are required to have a parent or guardian present at all times

Workshop is limited to 20 participants, please register early.

This class has a minimum number of 10 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week before the start of class. You will be refunded your full registration.
