UBC Botanical Garden is reopening with new guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests, members and staff. This entry time registration is specifically for Garden Members, our Friends of the Garden (FOG) volunteers, Indigenous Peoples and the UBC Community (students, staff and faculty with valid UBC card).

We value our Health Care Workers and First responders and would like to offer you a 50% off discount off a yearly membership. To redeem this special offer please email garden.info@ubc.ca between 10 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday. Thank you for your service

All visitors are required to book an entry time in advance. You will need to present your ticket and membership/UBC card (as relevant) on arrival. Tickets may be presented digitally on a mobile device or printed on paper. For sustainability reasons, we encourage digital tickets. Unfortunately, if you do not hold an entry ticket, you will not be able to enter the Garden.

There are no on-site ticket purchases
Tickets are only available online for a specific entry time. If you miss your entry time, you will not be permitted entry.
Members and UBC Cardholders are required to show their membership or valid UBC card on entry. Friends of the Garden (FOG) volunteers are required to wear their nametag. For members, UBC Cardholder and FOGs please register here.
If the time you would like to visit is not available, please do not come on-site, as you will not be permitted entry. Please choose another entry date (by choosing to "Transfer Event")/time (by choosing to "Transfer Ticket").

UBC Botanical Garden and the Greenheart TreeWalk open July 3rd. The Garden Centre remains open by appointment. Nitobe Memorial Garden and the Shop in the Garden remain closed. We look forward to updating you when they are able to safely open.
All children under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age.
