Ava had just put the cows away for the evening. Penny was enjoying a tall glass of milk straight from the teat before tucking herself in. It was like in A Clockwork Orange, where the milk is full of drugs. Just a casual, normal, dark and stormy night.
As Penny and Ava climbed into their bunkbeds (Ava on the top, of course,) the haunting sound of a cow lowing in the barn rolled across the moors. It sounded... disturbed, somehow. Something wrong with it. Something very wrong...
Penny and Ava donned their matching farmer outfits (overalls, hot pink, with the bibs) and, clutching each other close, approached the barn as terror built in their collective breasts...
