About this event

After our 2019 conference “Unlearning the Colonial”, we’re digging deeper into the learning, unlearning, and reckoning with interlocking systems of oppression in education and our society. Anti-Oppression Educators’ Collective (AOEC) is a provincial specialist association (PSA) of the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF). We are dedicated to challenging systemic oppression in education, and we support teachers with critical professional development through conferences, book clubs, webinars, and digital publications.
