The UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is hosting a Student Career Day on January 30th from 1:00 - 5:00pm. Please plan on attending if you are a company looking to hire a graduate or student engineer who is an effective team player, great communicator, and a dedicated problem solver.
For the 2024-25 school year, our students are participating in over 30 design clinic projects with industry partners. We believe that this approach to experiential learning better prepares our graduates for the workplace. The FSDE has now had eight graduating classes and our graduates have a 97% success rate in finding employment in their field. Employers have found that our students work effectively within their team, are great at communication, and have the necessary technical skills to solve industry challenges.
Companies that wish to participate in the Career Day are encouraged to use one of the tables in our concourse to set up promotional materials as well as job descriptions for any summer or full time jobs you are currently looking to fill. Students will be equipped with their resumes and this will provide a great opportunity to connect and start the discussion for long term relationships. Private rooms can also be reserved for onsite interviews.
If you have a job opening but cannot attend or do not wish to set up a table, please provide us with the job description and we can coordinate getting your work opportunity to all eligible students.
All companies will be staged in the RBC Concourse of the FSDE building. Space is limited.
