✧ What Is Reiki?✧
Reiki is the Japanese energy healing practice of channeling spiritually guided life force energy through the palms. Developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, the word Reiki comes from Rei (universal or spiritual) and Ki (life energy).
From an intuitive state of interconnectedness, the facilitator channels energy to areas of the body and chakras to clear blockages and expand one’s capacity to hold light. Reiki works on the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical levels—supporting deep relaxation, dissolving stagnation and limiting beliefs, and inviting transformation, healing, and new beginnings.
The subjective experience of Reiki varies widely and is often shaped by the intention of the session. Recipients may feel relaxation, tingling, changes in temperature, or receive visions and insights.
