About this event

    In this workshop, we’ll be using the Vaquform to create to create packaging and food molds. We’ll look at how to optimize molds for the forming process, choosing the correct materials for your purposes, and how to use the equipment safely and effectively.

    Participants do not need to bring anything or have any prior skill to participate in this workshop.

    What is the Maker Lab?

    The Maker Lab at the School of Design is a fabrication hub open to all registered student. It houses tools such as resin & filament 3D printers, laser cutters, a vacuum former, 2D plotters, circuitry stations, a spray booth, wire book binder, and more. The Student Maker Lab Technicians on shift can speak to the capabilities of each piece of equipment and help you move forward in the fabrication process.
