Join us for Lucia
Celebrate Santa Lucia in the afternoon with the Vancouver Swedish Cultural Society at 1 PM on December 14th! This is the 59th year of the Lucia event in Vancouver. Join us for coffee, baked goods, and a candlelit procession with traditional Lucia songs.
The afternoon Lucia event will include:
- Swedish Christmas carols by the Vancouver Swedish School
- A Swedish Christmas sing-along
- Swedish soloist performances
- The Lucia procession
- Fika! (Coffee and baked goods)
- Possibly an early visit from Santa...
- Dancing around the Christmas tree

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Questions can be emailed to swedishluciavancouver@gmail.com. Volunteers will respond within 48 hours.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
Electronic tickets are preferred.
How do I reserve a table?
Please purchase eight seats and email the team at swedishluciavancouver@gmail.com. A limited number of tables are available for reservation.
Is my ticket transferrable?
Yes, tickets are transferrable.
The name on the ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes!
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are only issued before December 7th. As the event is expected to be another sellout, no refunds will be provided after this date.
Are you interested in having even more fun at the event?
Volunteers entirely put on the Lucia event. You can help by joining us, from setting up tables to performing. There are numerous volunteer roles. Many hands make light work. Email Ulrika at swedishluciavancouver@gmail.com to see what we need for this year.
