Do you have traffic safety concerns in your neighbourhood?
We want to hear from you!
A Vision Zero Street Lab is being considered for High Park neighbourhood. The City would like to hear about your lived experience to help determine if a Vision Zero Street Lab would improve road safety and livability in the neighbourhood.
The public has an advisory role in the public engagement for Vision Zero Street Lab projects. We would like to hear about your experiences walking, biking, rolling and driving in the neighbourhood.

Frequently asked questions
At the start of a Street Lab, community members will share their lived experiences and traffic safety concerns with the City. From there, City staff will create a plan based on this input and best practices, and install adaptable traffic-calming measures designed to address the issues.
Street Labs provide: 1) A forum to share their experiences on the street. 2) An opportunity to trial new solutions using adaptable materials. 3) New experiences and conversations around street safety and neighbourhood livability. 4) Meaningful options to improve traffic safety on their street.
There are known adaptable traffic calming tools that can help address specific traffic safety concerns. Some of these measures may be incorporated into your neighbourhood’s Street Lab Plan. Visit edmonton.ca/streetlabs for examples of adaptable measures.
