About this event
Welcome to the Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference!
Join us at 4543 Canada Way Burnaby (United Way British Columbia) for a day of learning, networking, and fun!
This is the volunteer management conference presented by VMPC (Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada), Better Impact, and AL!VE (Association of Leader's In Volunteer Engagement).
Now in its tenth year, this year's topic is Creating Influence in Your Organization: Thinking Beyond 'A Seat at the Table'.
The most frequently asked question at previous conferences has been related to how a Leader of Volunteers can have management level influence in their organization. This year, we'll be answering that question with a variety of experiences shared by some of your peers in volunteer management who have found a way. Each speaker this year has extensive experience in the field and has a great story to tell - they have already been hard at work collaborating and "creating their influence", and have structured the day for each of the sessions to build on what comes before it.
There will be some engaging activities throughout the day built into the program, and at the end of the conference, attendees will come away with actionable tips they can use the very next day to build their own professional influence. This will be a conference you don't want to miss!
We are pleased to announce our speakers for this year's Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference:
- Adam Janes, CVA
- Nicole R. Smith, CVA
- Sarah Sukhram, CVA
- Tracey O'Niell, CVA
And our Host/Moderator for this year's Hybrid Conference is Rob Jackson.
