VSX 2025 Auditions

Comfortable workout or dance attire, with a good pair of sneakers. Please also make sure to bring indoor shoes (i.e., different than your street shoes) to preserve the beautiful studio floors.

While heels experience will be welcome, you are not expected to dance in heels this season.

You will learn three different choreographies (Groovy Soca, Power Soca and Traditional) taught by the three judges.

Yes, you will need to perform a solo, however, you can pick the choreography of your choice out of the three choreographies taught.

Yes, there will be a costume fee. The cost and details will be determined once the group is formed.

The chosen participants will be contacted by email so make sure you provide a valid email address and keep an eye out!

The judges will mainly be looking for musicality, rhythm, energy and stage presence, as well as the ability to learn a choreography quickly (and accurately).

Yes. You can provide the headshot and resume in the Google registration form but you can also bring printed copies with you at the audition.
