About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes

Our singing community is non-performing and non-auditioned. We sing together for the pure goodness of it. By gathering weekly, we care for ourselves, our wider community, and the Earth. All songs are taught by ear. All voices are welcome and no experience is required. Show up exactly as you are!

The Invitation

Sing with us from the comfort of your home. ♥ Join us weekly on Zoom as Steph and Paul create layers of sweet musical magic to soothe your tender heart and reconnect you to your fierce OKness. We will sing familiar and new songs, using our intuition to decide which songs are needed in the moment. Thanks to our handy-dandy looper, you will sing along with a whole chorus of Stephs and Pauls weaving their voices in harmony. It won't be the same as singing together in person, but it will be oh-so-special and therapeutic in its own way.

PLEASE NOTE: Drop-ins will not receive recordings of the song circle. If you want recordings, please consider registering for the full series.

After registering, you will receive a Zoom link for Week 3, Monday, September 23rd, 7 to 8:15 pm EDT. Keep an eye out for the confirmation email in your inbox!

Suggested Contribution

When you register, you will have the option to give what you choose (GWYC). Below, the "sustaining contribution" is the amount we need to receive per person on average to sustainably continue offering our workshops. The beauty of community is that, where some can give less, others can give more and it all works out. We invite you to give what you can.

Sustaining Contribution: $15 per adult
Supported Contribution: $10
Supporter Contribution: $20
Benefactor Contribution: $25

If other adults will be joining you from the same location, we invite you to either make a contribution for them with your registration or have them register separately.

To avoid payment processing fees, you may send an e-transfer to gifts@fiercelyok.ca (no password required). Please select "Pay by invoice" at the checkout and send your e-transfer before completing your registration or immediately after. Thank you!

If you know you want to sing regularly and these gift options are a barrier to your participation, please reach out to Steph (steph@fiercelyok.ca) to discuss alternate options, like payment plans and COME RECEIVE spots.

Have any other questions? Please reach out! We would be so happy to assist you.

Warmly,
Steph & Paul

Organized by

After 7+ years in Toronto, Steph & Paul are moving back to their hometown of Kingston, Ontario to spread their wings as young artists and community song leaders. Known by some as a musical “wizard,” Paul Barton makes clever use of his education in Jazz guitar and experience as a professional musician to help song circles run seamlessly. Steph Drouin is a trained community choir leader, expert space holder and a student of Expressive Arts Therapy. Informed by a life-long relationship with anxiety, she is passionate about creating spaces where you can feel safe to show up exactly as you are. Get ready! As a team of gifted space holders and song weavers, Steph & Paul will not only create an accessible and uplifting musical experience for you but also an environment that is welcoming of your fierce and tender human self.
