Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any cost for service?
- No. All of our services at Hospice Vaughan are provided for FREE. There is no cost to attend programs at Hospice Vaughan or to utilize our equipment.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
- No. We have yoga mats, straps and blocks available to use. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you would like to do so.
- As for book club, when we have more information, we will let you know about how to get the books!
How many people will be in the class?
- There will be a maximum of 7 participants and 1 instructor in each session. There is a minimum of 1 participant per class. If there are no registrations approximately 24 hours before a session it will be cancelled and will resume the next week.
Do I need to wear a mask?
- No, masks are currently not mandatory inside the building at Hospice Vaughan.
Who is teaching the sessions?
- Each session will be led by a Hospice Vaughan volunteer. Each of our lovely volunteers has participated in extensive HPCO standard training and have been selected for this role based on their expertise. A Hospice Vaughan staff member will always be available in the building if you require any further assistance.
What time should I arrive?
- Please be as punctual as possible. Arriving 5-10 minutes before each session's start time is welcome.

- Intake assessment is required to participate in wellness programming. Do I need to be good at ____ to join?
- No. ALL skill levels are welcome at Hospice Vaughan. We encourage you to participate in any way that you are able to and feels good for you that day.
