White Belt training will provide a first step to understanding tools, techniques and benefits of utilizing continuous improvement (Lean) in the workplace. A continuous improvement strategy is a collaborative approach that gives employees the opportunity to work in teams to improve the way we deliver services. The goal of Lean is to help us work more efficiently, effectively and to provide the highest value of service to our customers.

- Principles of Lean
- 8 Wastes
- Standard Work
- Visual Management
- Problem Identification
Length: Approximately 5 hours of on-line learning in partnership with RPM-Academy. The introduction to White Belt training will be a 30 minute virtual session through Microsoft Teams with a member of the Continuous Improvement Team. (Look for the invitation) This brief introduction will familiarize you with the learning portal along with expectations for the successful completion of your training.
Completing Your Required Courses: Each module includes a primary video, (first course element you will complete), and additional course elements that RPM-Academy has selected from content available in the public domain. You can also reference an "Optional Resources" file, (see "FILES" section in course description). This document provides a listing of other resources that you can use to deepen your understanding of key topics.
The allotted time for completion: Courses and Continuous Improvement ticket is 30 days.
