About the show:
Yahal Gazit z”l was a brave soldier, an admired tank officer and commander — but also a sensitive artist, poet, musician, and an inspiring creator.
Before the war, in another world, he founded the band Raash Lavan with two friends from northern Israel. The three recorded an album and set off with big dreams. Yahal, who wrote most of the lyrics, volunteered to fight, was wounded, returned to the battlefield — and was killed in action on December 4th in Shuja'iyya, at the age of just 24.
Since then, Raash Lavan has carried on his legacy — performing his songs, sharing his words, and fulfilling his dreams. Their music has been played hundreds of times on Israeli radio and the band is considered one of the most promising young voices in the local music scene.
The band’s live show weaves together Yahal’s songs and lyrics with his life story, the story of the band, and the story of an entire generation — a story of loss and remembrance, of war and hope, of life after death.
It is also the story of Israel, of the modern Israeli soldier — a fighter with a sensitive soul — and of the question that continues to echo: how do we go on living alongside death, and how do we create from within the pain.

יהל גזית ז"ל היה לוחם אמיץ, קצין שריון ומפקד נערץ – אך גם אמן רגיש, משורר, מוזיקאי ויוצר מעורר השראה.
לפני המלחמה, בעולם אחר, ייסד יחד עם שני חברים מצפון הארץ את להקת רעש לבן. השלושה הקליטו אלבום ויצאו לדרך עם חלומות גדולים. יהל, שכתב את רוב מילות השירים, התנדב להילחם, נפצע, חזר לשדה הקרב – ונפל בגבורה ב-4 בדצמבר בשג'עיה, בן 24 בלבד.
מאז, רעש לבן ממשיכה את דרכו – מבצעת את שיריו, מפיצה את מילותיו, ומגשימה את חלומותיו. שיריהם הושמעו מאות פעמים בתחנות הרדיו ונחשבים לאחד הקולות הצעירים המבטיחים במוזיקה הישראלית.
המופע של הלהקה שוזר את שיריהם ואת מילותיו של יהל יחד עם סיפור חייו, סיפור הלהקה וסיפורו של דור שלם – סיפור של אובדן וזיכרון, של מלחמה ותקווה, של חיים שאחרי המוות.
זהו סיפורה של ישראל, של החייל הישראלי, ושל השאלה שממשיכה להדהד: איך ממשיכים לחיות עם המוות, ואיך יוצרים מתוך השבר.
