Ensemble Laude’s signature lush sound takes flight with Wings, a curated selection of breathtaking pieces celebrating those who live in the sky.

Included are pieces by Katerina Gimon, Sarah Quartel, Maurice Ravel, Ro Ogura from Japan, and the Wailin’ Jennys. We’re also thrilled to present the world premiere of the SSAA version of My Heart is like a Singing Bird by Gerda Blok-Wilson.

From the dawn chorus, through the spiraling songs of the hot noontime sky, to the plaintive calls of the nightbirds, our feathered cousins sing the clockwork of our day.
