About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

**This event is for women, and takes places in a 3 storey walk up*

Hello, my name is Jungle Flower, and I founded Reclaim Your Voice after escaping a psychologically abusive relationship. August 27th is the anniversary of my escape, and I hope you'll join me for this session to celebrate healing and FREEDOM! Let's Reclaim Your Voices together.

During this practice, we'll chant Om 108 times. Om is widely considered to be the sacred sound of the universe, the sound which holds all other sounds within it.

The number 108 holds multidimensional significance in various traditions and cultures and is said to help align our energy with the universe's vibrations. It can lead to increased concentration, calmness, and a sense of peace.

Chanting Om also promotes relaxation of the jaws, face and neck, and stimulates the vagus nerve. This can help lower heart rate and blood pressure, and relieve anxiety.

This session will be enhanced by the soothing tones of singing bowls and gong, followed by some time in silence (the most potent sound of all).

Please note that once the doors close at 7:05 PM, late entry will not be permitted.

This event is upright seating only, not for lying down. A few chairs are available, and thin, basic cushions will be provided for folks who do not bring a meditation cushion of their own.

Come join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience of om chanting with singing bowls! This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to balance their energy. Let the soothing sounds of the singing bowls wash over you as you release tension. Connect with like-hearted individuals in our welcoming community as we come together to support each other's healing journeys. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to tune in to your body and soul!
