About this event

We'll cover everything you need to know to create the urn of your dreams from start to finish. Learn how to select quality boughs, how to cut your branches for maximum use, and how to arrange your greens to form a beautiful base for your decor. Select your ribbon and we'll make you a custom bow, plus choose each of your accessories for ultimate customization to match your home and your palette!

All materials and supplies are provided, just bring yourself, your friends, or your family and get ready to have some fun!

What do I have to bring?

Yourself! We provide all the tools and materials you need.

What should I wear?

We recommend clothes that you aren't afraid to get dirty! Working with the greens can be a little sappy.

Do I get to pick my own decor?

Yes! We'll have lots of options to pick from so you can customize to your favourite style and colours.

Do I need to learn how to make a bow?

Nope! You pick your ribbon during the workshop and we'll make it for you.

Is the event wheelchair accessible or can I do it seated?

We normally work on our arrangements standing as it is easier to handle the materials! However, any of our workshops can be accommodated to a lower working height at your request! Please contact us by email at info@vandermeernursery.com after you purchase your tickets.

Help! I'm not creative, what if I can't make an arrangement that looks good?

Don't worry! We'll walk you through every step of the way so it's foolproof. We've never had an attendee with an arrangement that wasn't beautiful by the time it was done!
