About this event

You will receive training on the safe usage of the following tools: band saw, mitre saw, drill press, and drill. You will have ample time to try out each tool and end up making a wooden candle holder.

This is also a required course for anyone who wants to use the above tools in our WorkSpace.

If you're under 18 years, you must be accompanied by an adult. Contact us beforehand via email (info@ottawatoollibrary.com) to aquire approval.

Every workshop attendee gets one free day access pass to our WorkSpace. Pass needs to be used within one month of this workshop.

Please dress appropriately for working in a woodshop: closed-toe shoes, hair tied in the back, and no loose clothing. It's important to be on time for this workshop as this is a safety course and all information is important. Late arrivals may not be able to join.

For more information on our WorkSpace and when you can use it to work on your projects, check out our webpage.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have a waitlist. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
