Let's raise our voices together on Fri Nov 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST to end Intimate Partner and Gender-Based Violence in our communities. We invite you to come together in person to celebrate the courage and strength of survivors of Gender-Based Violence - and all those who walk beside them. All advocates, survivors, and community members are welcome.
As organizations both dedicated to eradicating gender-based violence and supporting victims and survivors, Aura Freedom and Women's Habitat are proud to participate in OAITH's annual Wrapped in Courage campaign, which commemorates Woman Abuse Prevention Month and kicks off the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
As we continue our collective work to address the epidemic of GBV, it has never been more important to break the silence and stand together in solidarity against the increasing rates of femicide and violence against women, girls, and gender-diverse people in our communities. We encourage you to wear a purple scarf to mark this occasion.
