In this presentation, Shawn Gervias will introduce the concept of transmedia storytelling, provide examples of transmedia stories and share some thoughts on how people can use this as a tool to expand the creative and commercial potential of the stories they write, including how this can be applied to non-fictional writing.

Shawn is a product development specialist with 25+ years developing manufacturing, environmental and digital products who loves to write. He is working on his first transmedia stories in a subset of sci-fi called deindustrial fiction.
