Jermaine Gibbs is a Baltimore-born photojournalist whose work captures the profound beauty in everyday life. With a career spanning over 15 years, Gibbs has traveled extensively across Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean, documenting diverse cultures and communities. His compelling imagery has been featured in esteemed institutions, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

Beyond photography, Gibbs is a dedicated humanitarian. In 2017, he founded H.O.P.E. Missions (Help Open People's Eyes), a nonprofit organization committed to building sustainable communities throughout the African Diaspora. The organization focuses on constructing sanitation infrastructure, bridging technology gaps through modern computing donations, and providing essential resources for children and adults in underserved areas.

Gibbs also leads a Restorative Justice Photography Program based in Washington, D.C., established in 2018, which aims to empower individuals through visual storytelling.
