Founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1906, the Alpine Club of Canada represents the nation’s climbing community. The Manitoba Section was created in 1907 as a group of volunteers, and to this day, we are completely volunteer operated.

We run a wide range of local and alpine events throughout the year. So, whether you want to get ready for your next big trip, or you want to build community with like-minded mountain people, there's no time like the present to get involved.
