I'm an abstract painter working with wax, oil and multi-media. My paintings are inspired by place and poetry. They depict movement, light, harmonious colour, and energetic lines. I tune into the wild behind the visible.

My latest "Covid Walk" paintings were done during Covid 19 distancing time March - August 2020. Even Waldo has been self-isolating. I live a few blocks from Mud Lake, a conservation area pocketed in the west end of urban Ottawa. Most days while distancing myself during the pandemic, I have wandered to the shores of Mud Lake to watch the light upon the water and woods -- heron, beaver, geese, turtles and little woodland birds. These paintings are infused with images from these times.
