Since its establishment in 1971, Autism Edmonton has proudly held the title of the province's longest-serving autism organization, committed to serving Edmonton and its surrounding regions. Through dynamic programs, we support autistic individuals at every stage of life and every phase of diagnosis, addressing specific community needs and offering direct support to families. We adapt and rise to the occasion, providing support where needed most.
Autism Edmonton is dedicated to providing an array of inclusive and impactful programs and services for autistic individuals and their families. Our commitment is reflected in the diverse support offerings, which range from dedicated peer discussion groups tailored for autistic adults, LGBTQ2S+ members, women, partners, and parents, to a comprehensive spectrum of respite, recreational, and educational activities designed to cater to the unique needs of individuals across various age groups.
Moreover, Autism Edmonton contributes to community well-being by fostering a broader understanding and awareness of autism. Through these initiatives, we aim not only to support autistic individuals but also to create an inclusive and informed community that recognizes and values the unique strengths of every individual. Our multifaceted approach ensures that our programs and services cater to the diverse needs of those we serve, fostering a holistic and supportive environment for all.
VISION: All autistic people have a life full of possibilities.
MISSION: To enhance the lives of autistic people through knowledge, services and inclusive opportunities.
