Caara Yeung Flute

A passionate and versatile flautist; Caara actively performs in Toronto in solo recitals and chamber concerts at places such as the St. Andrew’s Church and the esteemed Arts & Letters Club. Caara is also the co-founder of Musalon, a performing arts organization working to promote new and standard classical music repertoire in Toronto and organizing immersive and creative concerts in hopes of reaching diverse audiences.

Caara captivates the audience with her poetic and sensitive playing, and has performed as a chamber musician and soloist in Hong Kong, Belgium and across Canada. She made her debut at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in fall 2021. Caara’s duo has also been invited by the Brussels City Council to perform on Christmas Eve at the iconic Galerie Saint Hubert. She also performed as a soloist with the Waterloo Virtuosi Orchestra at the Theatre Royal du Parc in August 2022 at Festival Classissimo.

Caara obtained her Master’s degree with highest distinction under the tutelage of renowned Belgian flutist Marc Grauwels at the Royal Conservatoire de Mons in 2022. Caara also holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the University of British Columbia with scholarships under the tutelage of Christie Reside.

She represents the acclaimed Japanese flute brand Miyazawa as an Emerging Artist.
