Surf City Hydraulic Engineering

My name is Paige Brue. I am the founder of Surf City Civil Engineering. My expertise is in floodplain mapping, stormwater management, and land development. My career journey in water resources began through my involvement with the FFA and the Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation Youth Board in high school. When my hometown (Franklin, Indiana) experienced a devastating flood in June of 2008, I knew that I wanted a career dedicated to minimizing the impact of similar large flood events in the future. When I graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering, I began my career in consulting. Throughout my career, I have used HEC-RAS for numerous projects. In November 2023, I took a leap and started Surf City Hydraulic Engineering where I continue to combine my technical skills with my love for hydraulic modeling.
